WALLED LAKE, Mich., Mar. 2, 2018— Zolman Restoration, a full-service restoration company specializing in fire, smoke, water, mold and storm restoration services, announced today that Jeff Katkowsky, a founding principal of the company, has been named president. The announcement was made by co-founding principal, Todd Sachse.

In his new role as president, Katkowsky will be responsible for managing day-to-day business development for Zolman Restoration. He will also oversee the integration of all activities between the sales, operations, and finance departments for the Zolman team, as it readies itself for the next phase of strategic growth.

“As an original founding principal of Zolman Restoration, Jeff understands what our goals and mission have been since the company’s inception in 2013 and he will continue to be a valuable member of the Z-Team,” Sachse said. “His proven leadership and incredible insights into the industry, as well as our business model specifically, make him the perfect fit for our growing team. Katkowsky boasts more than 25 years of experience working in all facets in the residential and commercial construction field, gaining intensive knowledge of residential, retail, medical, office and hospitality projects. Until this announcement, Katkowsky, also a principal of Sachse Construction, was responsible for overseeing Sachse’s Retail Group, which focuses on building retail stores and restaurants, throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. The retail group is comprised of 70 team members and has annual revenue of approximately $70 million.

Katkowsky earned his bachelor of science degree from Michigan State University. He is a member of the Construction Association of Michigan (CAM), Home Builder’s Associate of Michigan (HBAM), CAM Executive Committee of Government Affairs, Retail Contractor’s Association, International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and American Institute of Architecture (AIA). Additionally, he is a licensed builder in multiple states, and is a LEED AP. Katkowsky lives in Huntington Woods, Mich., with his wife and three children.
