Residential Flood

Water Damage Repair – Roseville, MI

After returning home from a weekend out of town, a Roseville homeowner discovered their main water supply line burst and flood their home. The entire main level of the home was in need of water damage repair as the flooring and subflooring were completely saturated. The mitigation process took eight days. Zolman Restoration packed and removed 118 items from the home that were damaged. The items were taken to Zolman professionals who worked to restore the contents to pre-loss condition. The reconstruction consisted of all rooms and hallways on the main level. New flooring, cabinetry, carpentry, plumbing, and painting were included in the performed work.

Challenges

This project required a constant sense of urgency that was impressed on the entire Zolman project team. Due to the nature of the damage and an existing medical condition that required constant oxygen supplement the restoration had to be complete before the client could return home.

Solutions

To overcome the challenges during this project, Zolman Restoration first relocated the client to a hotel on the night of the event. We also supplied her with clean clothes. Using our turn-key approach, Zolman Restoration was able to fully coordinate and expedite the water damage repair work, which allowed the client to return home sooner and put as minimal stress as possible on the client’s health.

Results

The project began in early June and was completed in July. Zolman Restoration worked around the clock to complete the project, so the client could swiftly return to his home.
