Apartment Complex Fire
An apartment complex experienced a fire in one of their 8-unit buildings after a tenant accidentally left food unattended in an apartment kitchen. The property manager hired Zolman Restoration to perform smoke remediation, and a complete demolition of all apartments and hallways. Zolman replaced the drywall, electrical, insulation, HVAC, cabinetry, flooring, plumbing, roofing, windows, painting, and finish carpentry.
Challenges
Since the tenants were relocated during the smoke remediation and demolition work, Zolman had to complete all the repairs in a timely manner to avoid additional loss of rent for the client.
Solutions
Zolman Restoration maintained constant communication with the property manager throughout the restoration process, which allowed the property manager to effectively notify tenants of their move in date.
Results
